Mirdif is in eastern Dubai, near Al Khawaneej Road, with Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road on its western edge. Coming to Happy Buddies means a drive across the city to Al Quoz. The time in the car matters to your dog too, so it's worth planning the trip as carefully as the day.
Is the cross-city drive right for your dog?
From Mirdif it's about 31–35 km to Warehouse 7, 31st Street, Al Quoz Industrial 4, roughly 30–35 minutes without traffic. Allow longer at rush hour, and check live traffic at the time you'd normally leave before you commit to regular days. We're open daily from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM, so you can plan drop-off and collection around the traffic.
One route takes Algeria Street, Tripoli Street and Al Rebat Street, then Business Bay Crossing to Al Khail Road. Another goes via Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Ras Al Khor Road before joining Al Khail Road. Both reach Al Quoz along Umm Suqeim Street. Traffic can make the trip home quicker or slower than the morning run, so plan each one separately.
Start with how your dog travels
When you ask about daycare, tell us how your dog has coped with car journeys before. Mention any travel nerves, and describe their usual meals and rest. A first visit will tell you a lot before you book several days a week. A longer commute won't suit every dog, even when transport is available.
A single daycare day is AED 99.75 including VAT. Look at the package options once you know the care and the travel work for your dog. If the handover happens in a shared area, check its current rules for dogs first.
Boarding means fewer trips
For time away, boarding means one drive in and one drive home instead of daily trips from Mirdif. It's Small AED 126, Medium AED 135 and Large AED 150 per night, including VAT. Send your full dates, feeding instructions and your dog's evening habits. A Happy Buddies team member stays on site overnight with the boarding dogs, and the boarding area has cameras. Ask about grooming before collection if you'd like to avoid a separate outing.
The Dubai pet taxi is AED 60 one way or AED 100 round trip, including VAT, and we'll agree the times with you. Send your Mirdif street, villa or building, the entrance to use and the contact who'll receive your dog. If your dog is going home to a different address, tell us when you book. You'll find more neighbourhoods in our Dubai area guides.
