Why Dubai dogs need a regular routine
Heat, humidity, sand and air-conditioned indoor living can all affect a dog's coat and skin. Regular brushing and professional grooming help reduce matting, manage shedding and keep nails, ears and skin easier to monitor.
A useful starting schedule
Every dog is different, so coat condition and lifestyle matter more than a fixed calendar. These intervals are a practical starting point.
- Short-haired breeds: professional grooming around every 6 to 8 weeks
- Medium-haired breeds: around every 4 to 6 weeks
- Long-haired or fast-growing coats: around every 3 to 4 weeks
- Brush at home between appointments and check paws, ears and skin
Do not wait when something looks wrong
Book sooner if you notice matting, repeated scratching, a greasy or dull coat, long nails, unusual odour, fleas, ticks or irritated skin. A veterinary check is the right first step for a medical concern.
Happy Buddies can combine grooming with daycare, boarding or pet taxi. Send the team a photo for a current recommendation and quote.
